• Education - understanding how the media shapes our world and our democracy
• Protest - against a media system based on commercialization and exclusiveness
• Change - calls for media reforms that respond to public interests, promote diversity, and ensure community representation and accountability.

Media should inform, liberate and empower all members of our society. On Media Democracy Day, the public has a chance to share and discuss ways in which we can work toward this goal of democratizing media together.

Make your voice heard on Saturday, November 7^th at the Vancouver Public Library (350 West Georgia Street). There, you can celebrate Media Democracy Day with other democratic media enthusiasts. From 11am to 6pm, you will have a chance to attend exciting workshops, panels and a media democracy fair.
